This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for an adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment during the primary caregiver’s absence.

Pay

• $18.42/hour

Schedule

• Every Monday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

• Occasional weekends (if needed):

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care in the client’s home.

• Ensure the client’s safety and well-being at all times.

• Assist with basic money management (e.g., supporting budgeting and planning).

• Support the client in preparing simple meals and snacks.

• Offer timely medication reminders (no medication administration required).

• Provide transportation to and from community locations (e.g., errands, appointments, outings).

• Give verbal reminders to maintain a clean and organized environment.

• Engage with the client in respectful, meaningful ways to encourage social connection and independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.

• Auto insurance required.

• Must pass a background check.

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the family and care team.
