Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant - Temporary Role

JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant provides daily financial, administrative, and clerical support to the CDCN Accounting Team. Responsibilities include processing incoming mail, managing outgoing USPS deliveries, and preparing daily deposits for various company locations. The role also involves monitoring and ordering office supplies for the Accounting and Payroll departments.
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 4-6 months.
JOB DUTIES
- Open, sort, and distribute all incoming mail at CDCN headquarters
- Manage outgoing USPS mail, including collecting parcels and ensuring timely preparation for scheduled pickups
- Prepare and balance daily check deposits for all company locations
- Use Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) to scan checks for daily deposits
- Scan, email, and store invoices and supporting documents
- Order office supplies as needed
- Adapt to changes and learn new tasks as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma preferred
- Knowledge of basic Excel functions
- Microsoft Office and Teams experience preferred
- Effective in cross-team collaboration
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
