This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for a kiddo in the Wausau area. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe, structured environment in the kiddo’s home.

Pay:
$17.66/hourly (shifts under 8 hrs.)
$256.00/day (shifts over 8 hrs.)

Schedule:
Flexible schedule! To be determined between provider and managing party.
Looking for care occasionally on weekday afternoons, after school hours. 

Tasks:
Respite care would be conducted in the kiddo’s home -or out in the community. 
Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. 
Engage with the client in respectful and meaningful ways to encourage social connection.
Above all, hang out and have fun! This client enjoys water, mud, caterpillars, dinosaurs, music and so much more.. 

Qualifications:
Must pass background check.
Ability to provide overnight respite care.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
