This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to offer supportive care for a teenage client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment in your home.

Pay:
• $256.00/day (shifts over 8 hrs.)

Schedule:
Occasional Weekends (1-2 weekends per month)
• Looking for care either Friday afternoon -or Saturday afternoon into Sunday afternoon. Flexible on start and end times. 

Tasks:
• Respite care would be conducted in the provider’s (your) home. 
• Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. 
• Provide verbal hygiene reminders.  
• Engage with the client in respectful and meaningful ways to encourage social connection.
• Above all, hang out and have fun! This client enjoys video games, building with Legos, music, basketball, and going to the Boys and Girls Club. 

Qualifications:
• Must pass background check.
• Ability to provide overnight respite care in your home.
• Preferring a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
