This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

A warm and welcoming mom in Brown Deer, WI, is seeking a compassionate, dependable part-time caregiver to provide in-home support for her adult son with special needs. This position is an excellent fit for someone with experience supporting individuals with physical needs in their own homes and who understands the importance of providing care that is respectful, patient, and personalized. The ideal provider will be comfortable assisting with daily routines and physical support while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and comfort.

Pay

• $20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Every Other Saturday and Sunday | 11p-7a (could be every weekend if you are interested in both!)

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the member’s home

• Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift

• Assist with G-tube feedings and suctioning

• Support with bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed

• Assist with medications when required

• Ensure safety, comfort, and companionship throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from shifts

• Prior experience with feeding tubes and Hoyer lifts required

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
